Mounted Meeting - 5/29/2011

Hi Everyone!

The mounted meeting scheduled for Sunday, 5/29 will be taught by Katie Shiplett. The lesson will cover dressage tests and proper presentation.  You may choose a test to work on with Katie.  She has suggested the following:

IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON GOING TO RALLY:

D1 test is 2011 USDF Introductory Level Test B (Walk/Trot only)

D2 test is 2010 USEF Beginner Novice Eventing Test B

IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON COMPETING AT THE INDIANA HORSE TRIALS:

Beginner Novice:  2010 USEF Beginner Novice Eventing Test B

Novice:  2010 USEF Novice Eventing Test B

IF YOU DON’T HAVE PARTICULAR PLANS:

Simply choose one of these that is your level to practice.  

I am making copies of these three tests and placing them on the pony club board in the barn.  Pick up your copies there.  YOU MUST RSVP BY THURSDAY 5/26 P.M. so we can group the correct riders/tests together.  Katie & I are out of town until Friday  5/27 – so will respond to you for a ride time probably sometime on Saturday 5/28.  There is also a sign up sheet on the board that you can indicate your attendance & test choice.  This way we can keep the meeting timely and organized so your ponies don’t have to stand around waiting!  Although …  you are welcome to watch the other tests – never know what you might learn from the ground!

PS:  If you cannot get to the barn to pick up the tests , please let me know and I will email a copy to you  - but keep in mind I will be away the week prior (5/23-5/27) so you’d need to do that this week!
